As J succeeded in her task and flew off, Gary went to have his Electivire use Thunder on her, but Toxicroak intercepted them. As Gary tried to stop Hunter J from capturing Azelf, Saturn sent his Toxicroak to stop his Electivire and Umbreon by using Dark Pulse and X-Scissors. Saturn had Toxicroak use Rock Smash on a boulder, revealing the entrance to the Spear Pillar. As Team Rocket attempted to steal the case, Saturn's Toxicroak used Dark Pulse to blast them away, and obtain that case. Pairing up with Charon, Saturn sent Toxicroak to use Rock Smash, revealing the gateway to the Spear Pillar.
Pikachu went to use Volt Tackle, but as Toxicroak went to strike him with Poison Jab, Chimchar pushed Pikachu aside, letting himself getting struck. It went to use Dark Pulse, but was countered by Cynthia's Gastrodon and Garchomp. It then faced Brock's Croagunk by smashing him through a skylight and then stabbing him in the stomach with Poison Jab, which left Croagunk greatly wounded.
Īt the moment Team Galactic went to steal the Lustrous Orb, Toxicroak was used to defeat police officers. Saturn and Toxicroak arriving in Veilstone City to execute their plan was remembered by Ash, Dawn and Brock, as they were going to Snowpoint City. It then used Sludge Bomb on Electabuzz before Team Galactic fled.
Croagunk went to use Brick Break and Poison Sting, but Toxicroak negated the attack with Sludge Bomb. Brock's Croagunk then noticed Toxicroak, and instantly formed a fierce rivalry with it. As Toxicroak repeated the attack, Reggie and Electabuzz and Ash and Pikachu retaliated, too. It then fired Dark Pulse, which Maylene's Lucario countered with Aura Pulse. It used Sludge Bomb to attack Team Rocket, until the heroes arrived. Toxicroak first appeared in Veilstone City when Team Galactic attempted to steal a bunch of meteorites. This Toxicroak is a Poison/ Fighting- type shiny Pokémon owned by Saturn.
